WHY PROGRAMMING IS REQUIRED?

>> Now we have entered a decade of Technology. Programming is so necessary to innovate solutions to real-world problems. Programming is important to create mobile or web applications that will help computer and mobile users in daily life. 

>> Nowadays every single person is reliable on the Internet.  So web applications and mobile is a must-have utility in our daily life.

>> Besides that programming is fun. n_n

What is the job of a developer?

>> "Software development is the process of conceiving, specifying, designing, programming, documenting, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications, frameworks, or other software components." -- Wikipedia.

So as we can see Software Developer is a guy who creates applications either mobile or web to provide simple easy to understand solutions to real-world problems. 

As an example, I can say that on my way back home from college I use the train as transportation. Being an Indian standing in a queue for 5 Rs. ticket is not a big problem. But still online ticket booking is way simpler and time-saving.
